Karl Seashore
Carl Emil Seashore lahir pada 28 Januari 1866 dan meninggal pada 16 Oktober 1949. Ia adalah seorang psikolog dan pendidik Amerika terkemuka. Dia adalah penulis banyak buku dan artikel terutama tentang bidang patologi bahasa ujaran, pendidikan musik, dan psikologi musik dan seni. Dia menjabat sebagai Dekan Kampus Paskasarjana dari University of Iowa pada 1908-1937. Dia paling sering dikaitkan dengan pengembangan Tes Kemampuan Musik Seashore. Sudah banyak karya buku mengenai musik yang telah ia tulis. Karya yang paling terkenal adalah Approaches to the Science of Music and Speech (1933) dan In Search of Beauty in Music : a scientific approach to musical esthetics (1947).
